Fizik test saddles at VeloElite Northamptonshire

Here at VeloElite we know the importance of comfort on a bike. Our experience in bike fitting has made us aware of how common saddle related problems are. We offer Fizik saddles for both men and women and have a range of Fizik test saddles at VeloElite Northamptonshire. Customers can try these on their bikes out on the road, and/or during a bike fit.

We believe in the science of bike fitting and fizik support this belief with saddles backed up by science.

About Fizik Saddles

During the 1990’s a new Italian brand fi’zi;k, began producing hand made saddles, needless the say they quickly became popular with not only professional cyclists, but amateur racers and club riders too. Their cutting edge looks and materials, coupled with modern anatomic design proved a real hit for Fizik Saddles.

The Fizik Saddle range is made up of a number of different models for both road and mountain bike use. To help customers find the right saddle Fizik use something they call the Spine Concept. They have created 3 shape categories that take into account different levels of rider flexibility and anatomical build, these are:

Snake – For riders that tend to move around a lot on the bike and cover longer distances whilst being relatively flexible, this range is best suited to racing.
Chameleon – For riders that tend to remain more stable on the saddle, not moving around so much and look for increased comfort
Bull – This is for riders where the main focus is comfort and look for a higher level of padding, the Bull range are slightly wider that the others.
